Wild Horses, a black and white photographic print.

In October 2022 I stayed on a remote island. The wind on this particular day chilled my ears even under my bobble hat, and the sun seemed to be mocking us by providing a warmth that was quickly whipped away from our skin by 60mph gusts. The horses, however, didn't seem to mind the weather.

I loved the sight of the wild horses by the sea as I circled them from a distance, getting to know their behaviour. And then, as they began to run, I remembered what majestic sights look like. In fact, it was as though I had become so unaccustomed to majesty that I felt I had perhaps never truly witnessed it. Until now, right here, in the sight of wild horses running in a valley by the sea.

Printed as a Digital C-Type print on Fuji Matt 231gsm paper, which has a satin finish for a slight sheen.
