The Pollen Plate.

A small plate featuring a design from one of my photographs, taken in Autumn 2020.

The Pollen Plate was initially designed to suit desserts or to be a perfect cheese plate. However it is also fitting for morning pastries or as a beautiful backdrop to elegantly prepared sushi or dim sum – the matching coaster could even be used as a dipping dish.

Production:
Skilfully screen printed in seven colours, re-fired and edged in gold by a ceramics company in Stoke-on-Trent, England.

This process makes for long-lasting, fade-resistant plates with beautiful depth of colour.

The plates onto which the design has been printed were imported from a small factory in Tangshan, China. They are made of fine bone china, which uses real bone ash for durability and aesthetic purposes.

Always wash by hand.
