Lily, a black and white photographic print.

I have taken many photos of lilies, this was one of the first. I love their ethereal, slightly eerie quality and their sense of drama. The pearlescence of their petals when fresh - petals which curl and dry to be like paper after they've fallen - and their form once they've faded. It's something of a love affair, and surely not the worst one to be had.

Printed as a Digital C-Type print on Fuji Matt 231gsm paper, which has a satin finish for a slight sheen.

8" x 12" with a .5" border (paper size 9" x 13")
12" x 18" with a 1" border (paper size 14" x 20")
